Uzbekistan is set to launch advanced training programs in the United Kingdom for civil servants responsible for foreign trade, economic, and investment cooperation. This initiative is spearheaded by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the UK, in collaboration with the "El-yurt Umidi" Foundation, IT-Park Uzbekistan, and the Hampshire County Chamber of Commerce.
During an online meeting between these organizations, participants discussed plans to organize theoretical and practical courses for Uzbek civil servants in Britain. The courses aim to enhance expertise in foreign trade and investment practices while fostering international cooperation.
Key agreements included enabling scholarship holders of the "El-yurt Umidi" Foundation to pursue education in the UK, establishing cooperation between the University of Southampton and IT-Park Uzbekistan, and exploring the possibility of opening an IT-Park Uzbekistan branch in the UK.
Another focus was the Offshore Outsourcing Conference 2025, scheduled to take place in Tashkent on February 26-27. The Hampshire County Chamber of Commerce, along with IT and BPO companies, is expected to actively participate in the event.
The Hampshire County Chamber of Commerce, established in 1875, plays a pivotal role in supporting and developing international business relations. With over 1,800 member companies from various industries, the Chamber offers vast opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange.
