Russian competent authorities initiated criminal proceedings against the individual under the charge of "Public justification of terrorism." The Kyrgyz Republic's diplomatic representatives followed up with Russian investigative bodies to acquire comprehensive details on the preliminary investigation.
The Kyrgyzstan Embassy in Moscow pledged to offer consular and legal assistance as deemed appropriate within the context of the ongoing criminal case. This case is being monitored closely by both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the Embassy.
The incident, which took place on March 22 at Crocus City Hall during a concert attended by thousands, involved four unmasked individuals in camouflage opening fire and setting the premises ablaze. The horrific event resulted in 143 fatalities, with an additional 360 injured. In connection with this criminal incident, ten suspects have been apprehended.
