Kazakhstan's PM explores investment prospects with foreign investors
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov, held a meeting with representatives from Harmony Capital Strategy AMC, Citius Capital AG, Torkam Holding, and Marsel Group. The discussions, attended by heads of central government agencies, centered around the potential implementation of various projects in key sectors, including housing and medical institution construction, renewable energy development, and enhancements to the transport infrastructure, prime minister's press service reported on January 27.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Smailov underscored the government's commitment to improving the business climate in the country and expressed openness to new investment initiatives. He stated,
Kaspar Vonlich, the head of the delegation, founder of Harmony Capital Strategy AMC, and CEO of Citius Capital AG, highlighted that preliminary work has already been undertaken for the planned projects.
The discussions encompassed a range of crucial topics, including the construction of housing and medical facilities, the development of renewable energy sources, and improvements to the transport infrastructure.
In the aftermath of the meeting, Prime Minister Smailov directed government agencies to thoroughly examine and address all the issues raised during the discussions.
