The press service of Uzbekistan Airports has announced the commencement of a significant reconstruction project at Tashkent International Airport. Beginning at 12:00 on December 8, the entrance to the overpass for cars has been closed to facilitate the overhaul.
To accommodate the flow of cars and tourist buses, a designated passenger disembarkation line has been established near the parking area of the international terminal. Due to the reconstruction efforts within the terminal, access to the departure hall is temporarily restricted for those in mourning.
The second phase of the Tashkent-2 terminal reconstruction initiative, initiated in August 2022, focuses on the implementation of automated parking systems, the creation of enhanced facilities for departures and arrivals, and the resolution of issues pertaining to unauthorized taxi services.
