Eurotecnica, a leading global player in the engineering and construction sector, has officially inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with key stakeholders to establish a cutting-edge melamine production facility in Uzbekistan.
The MOU was signed among Uzkimyosanoat, China National Chemical Engineering and Construction Corporation Seven (CC7), Amanat Group, and Eurotecnica Contractors and Engineers S.p.A. The collaborative venture, named Fargonamelamine, will act as the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) overseeing the design and construction of the melamine production facility.
The primary objective of Fargonamelamine is to harness the technical expertise of each partner to facilitate the Final Investment Decision (FID) and ensure the success of the project.
Eurotecnica's revolutionary G5 Euromel(R) technology has been selected by Uzkimyosanoat and Amanat as the optimal solution for achieving their ambitious production goals. The technology not only promises superior operational efficiency but also aligns with Eurotecnica's commitment to environmental sustainability, as emphasized by their Total-Zero-Pollution promise.
Stefano Sassi, the Commercial Director of Eurotecnica, expressed his enthusiasm, stating;
"We have been working with our partners and friends in Uzbekistan to make this project possible. Our Generation Five Euromel(R) melamine technology ensures this new opportunity will benefit from the best OPEX available in the market."
The selection of China National Chemical Engineering and Construction Corporation Seven (CC7) as the experienced Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor further ensures the project's build quality and financial feasibility. Filippo De Pace, CEO of CC7 Europe, highlighted the significance of this collaboration.
"This Melamine project will reinforce CC7’s position in the Uzbekistan market, providing an advantage to the Amanat Group by being the first Melamine producer throughout Central Asia Countries."
Moreover, De Pace underscored the project's role in supporting Uzbekistan's industry privatization program, marking a pivotal step in the nation's economic development.
