The expansion of business connections and cultural-humanitarian exchanges between regions took center stage in their talks. The leaders of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan also reviewed the plan for future events, as per the report.
On November 9, President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Economic Cooperation Organization summit. Notably, other leaders attending the OIC summit, chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, include Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Anwar ul-Haq Kakar of Pakistan, President Sadir Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, and President Ibrahim Raisi of Iran.
