Russian Export Center expands reach with new Bishkek office, boosting economic ties with Kyrgyzstan

The Russian Export Center (REC), a subsidiary of the Russian State Development Corporation responsible for financing socio-economic projects, has inaugurated its official representative office in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This significant development is poised to strengthen economic ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan while fostering greater accessibility and popularity of Russian products in the Kyrgyz market.

The REC, known for facilitating the expansion of Russian companies into international markets, is now ready to provide invaluable support to businesses aiming to venture into Kyrgyzstan's dynamic market.

"Relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan have the character of a strategic partnership and alliance and are distinguished by a high level of interaction. The opening of the REC representative office in Bishkek is another important step towards strengthening foreign economic cooperation between our countries. This step holds immense significance for businesses in both nations. We hope to strengthen and significantly increase the presence of Russian companies in the Kyrgyz sector, as well as to implement large-scale joint projects," Veronika Nikishina, the director of the REC noted.

The REC's Bishkek representative office will offer a comprehensive array of services to Russian businesses, with a primary focus on helping them identify potential buyers within Kyrgyzstan. Furthermore, Russian exporters can rely on the REC for assistance in verifying the credibility of Kyrgyz counterparts and accessing financial support for collaborative projects through the REC Group.

The establishment of this representative office marks a significant milestone in REC's international expansion efforts. Bishkek now joins the ranks of 13 other cities worldwide that host REC offices. This expansion aligns with the REC's overarching mission of promoting Russian exports, fostering economic cooperation, and enhancing international business opportunities for Russian companies.

The REC's presence in Bishkek is expected to create a conducive environment for trade and investment, strengthening the economic ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan while simultaneously bolstering the Kyrgyz market with high-quality Russian products.
