Pakistan's Federal Minister of Commerce Gohar Ejaz and Turkmenistan's Ambassador Atajan Movlamov discussed prospects for mutual trade.
The Pakistani office reports that the diplomat invited Pakistan to participate in the development of their ambitious smart city project named "Arkadag", worth $5bn. Pakistan can play a pivotal role by exporting construction materials and goods to support this monumental endeavor.
Movlamov also emphasized Turkmenistan’s need for agricultural products from Pakistan, including rice, sugar, potatoes, and onions.
Experts told Daryo that the two countries are promoting regional infrastructure projects through Afghanistan, including a gas pipeline, a power transmission line and a fibre-optic cable.
