By September 1, Kazakhstan's Republican school transport fleet will receive 500 new buses, with about 400 assembled in the Karaganda region, media reports.
The assembly process involves multiple steps, including welding and painting the frame, completing the salon, and installing the engine. The end result is a 7.5-meter school bus that can seat 20 passengers and is equipped with safety features such as reinforced front parts, automatic fire extinguishing systems, and 4-point safety belts on the chairs.
The circular vision feature allows the driver to have a 360-degree view, while air conditioning, stove, and seat heating provide comfort to the passengers.
A unique feature of the bus is that the driver must pass a stop signal to shut down the bus, ensuring that no child or object is left behind.
The buses were designed by Yutong, a leading bus manufacturer, and produced by QazTehna, a young but highly localized passenger transport industry in Kazakhstan.
