The city of Astana in Kazakhstan is set to host the prestigious President’s Cup Tennis Tournament, featuring the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women’s Circuit. The tournament will be held from July 23 to August 6, as announced by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation’s press service.
The President’s Cup Forte series will take place at the Beeline Arena National Tennis Center, with matches played on outdoor hard courts. This venue is known for its top-notch facilities and has previously hosted various international tennis events.
Representing Kazakhstan in the ATP Challenger Tour will be a strong lineup of talented players. Mikhail Kukushkin, aged 35, Dmitry Popko, aged 26, Denis Yevseyev, aged 30, Grigoriy Lomakin, aged 25, and Maxim Batyutenko, aged 18, are expected to showcase their skills and compete against tough opponents in the tournament.
In the ITF Women’s Circuit, Kazakhstan will be represented by a group of talented female players. Gozal Ainitdinova, aged 24, Zhibek Kulambayeva, aged 23, Aruzhan Sagandykova, aged 18, and Sandugash Kenzhibayeva, also aged 18, are among the promising athletes who will be vying for success in the competition.
The President’s Cup has a long and esteemed history in the world of tennis, serving as a launchpad for many great players. Since its inception in 1991, the tournament has been a highlight of Kazakhstan's tennis calendar.
