The Minister of Kazakhstan's National Economy, Alibek Kuantyrov, at a government meeting on July 12 announced that the country's economy had grown by 5% in the first half of 2023.
The real sector and services sector both experienced growth rates of 4.8% and 4.9%, respectively.
All major sectors, including construction, trade, and information and communication, saw growth, and fixed investment increased by 13%.
Investment inflows also increased in various sectors, such as transport and warehousing, trade, agriculture, education, and industry, including mining.
The regions with the best indicators were noted as Abay, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan, and the city of Shymkent, according to Alibek Kuantyrov.
