Following Uzbekistan on the list are South Korea and the United States, with $24 157 877 and 24 936 24 000 000 respectively.
At the same time, the amount of money received from these countries decreased: from Uzbekistan — by 12.9%, from South Korea — by 22.6%, from the USA — by 34.6%, the publication stressed.
Earlier, the Head of the External Labor Migration Agency, Azim Akhmadov, mentioned that the migration of Uzbek citizens for employment in foreign countries can be divided into two degrees. Currently, the largest number of migrants, considering these aspects, is observed in Kazakhstan and Russia. This fact is attributed to the easier process of migrating to these countries. Since a majority of our citizens work in the construction sector in both countries, women face several difficulties in these destinations.
