A meeting between representatives from Uzbekistan and Vietnam's tourism industries was recently held in Tashkent, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and "Prestige Travel." Attendees included leaders of top hotel brands and travel companies from both countries who had the chance to discover Uzbekistan's tourism prospects and accomplishments and engage in valuable discussions for mutually beneficial agreements.
According to Dunyo, the growing bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam has resulted in a significant increase in tourist flow between the two nations compared to previous years, with a thousand tourists entering Uzbekistan from Vietnam in 2022 alone.
Additionally, a direct flight service between Uzbekistan and the Vietnamese city of Nha Trang was launched in June, providing new opportunities for entrepreneurs in the tourism sector of the two countries.
