Malaysian companies are studying the possibility of implementing a medicinal plant processing project in Kashkadarya region.
Essentiq Pharma, a distributor of biologically active supplements in Malaysia, met the business elite of Kashkadarya region. The Mirishkor district officials presented the investment opportunities created for foreign companies in Uzbekistan.
The sides signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Sam-Kuala LLC and the Uzbek delegation.
The Uzbek guests visited the production facility of the company "Biotropics Malaysia", a partner of the "Essentiq Pharma" company, specializing in the production of biologically active supplements.
"Biotropics Malaysia" company executives said that they were interested in cooperation between the parties and would love to study the possibilities of implementing a joint investment project.
At the end of the meetings, in order to establish a joint venture between "Sam-Kuala" and "Essentiq Pharma" agreed to send licorice plant samples to study the prospects of opening plant processing unit in Uzbekistan.
