A database of war veterans was created in Kazakhstan. The "The name of the heroes in the memory of the country" project (in translation) aims to preserve the names of the front-line soldiers who participated in the war, Daryo correspondent from Astana reports.
An electronic resource is a database, where anyone can take part in updating information about veterans. Information about the site can be found here.
On the site, you can find a person by name and surname. Some 237 veterans of the Second World War currently remain in Kazakhstan.
