A private kindergarten was on fire in Astana. The flame was so strong that a puff of black smoke rose over the sky of the city, reports Daryo correspondent from Kazakhstan.
Firefighters immediately arrived at the scene and found that the roof of a two-story building was on fire. They started looking for people. According to the administration of the kindergarten, the teachers evacuated all the children in advance.
“Thanks to the well-coordinated, professional actions of the capital's firefighters, the fire was quickly localized at 16:15 and eliminated at 16:25. The preliminary fire area was 300 sq.m. There are no victims or injured. About 40 personnel and some 13 pieces of equipment of the Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Astana were involved in the extinguishing,” commented the press service of the Department of Emergency Situations.
