A new indictment was announced against an Uzbek citizen who shot twice at a police officer in St. Petersburg, Russia on February 24. This was reported by 78.ru
The Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg extended the imprisonment terms against the accused Tigran Khachikyan who is now accused of attempted terrorism (Part 3 of Article 30 - Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia).
Earlier, Khachikyan was charged only under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of Russia (assault on the life of a law enforcement officer). According to this article, he can be sentenced to 20 years in prison. Khachikyan fully admitted his guilt after being detained until April 23.
