Abnormally hot weather is expected in Turkmenistan April 12-14, with the barometer crossing the +40° mark in some regions, according to Meteojournal (Russia).
"Such temperatures are abnormal for the April climate. Thus, in all the time of meteorological observations, the maximum temperature in Ashgabat during this period was recorded in 2015 at + 39.6°".
Reportedly, the anomaly is linked to a low-pressure zone over the Caspian Sea, which has increased the outflow of air masses from the territory of Iran.
Doctors advise not to go outside unnecessarily, especially between 11 am and 5 pm in such hot weather. You should wear light, loose-fitting clothing made of natural fabrics and hats.
'You should also drink plenty of water and eliminate fatty, fried, and sugary foods from your diet', the message reads.
In addition, WHO reminds the population that leaving children or pets in parked cars is strictly forbidden.
