The Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov met with the Vice President of Huawei Digital Power for the Middle East and Central Asia, Mr Yao Jing, to discuss further cooperation in the development of green energy in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan has already implemented a number of large projects to launch solar power plants, which are showing good results for the second year. For our part, we will try, based on our values, to comprehensively contribute to the further strengthening of the country's energy system and the implementation of the "green" strategy," said Yao Jing.
Huawei Digital Power focuses on areas such as clean power generation, electrification of transport, and building green ICT infrastructure. By the end of 2022, Huawei has helped its customers generate more than 695.1 billion kWh of green energy and reduce energy consumption by 19.5 billion kWh, equivalent to avoiding almost 340 million tons of CO2 emissions.
