Investors from Central Asia are interested in assets in the commercial real estate market of Russia, "TASS" reports.
It is said that they are ready to invest in projects up to $194.1mn.
"We receive requests from Central Asian investors to search for and purchase assets in Russia. We are talking about billions - on average from 1.5-2bn to 10-15bn rubles," - said Alan Baloyev, head of the Capital Markets Department of the Commonwealth Cooperation.
According to Baloyev, investors from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are among those expressing interest.
Such attention is focused on commercial real estate segments - offices, retail, and warehouses. At the same time, priority is given to assets with maximum cash flow.
According to Baloyev, the Russian market for investors from Central Asia, especially Moscow, St. Petersburg, and millions of other cities, look huge in terms of market capacity and stability.
In addition, interest in commercial real estate is growing and the number of previously neglected business applications from Kyrgyz investors is increasing.
