An agreement was reached on the export of chemical fertilizers from Uzbekistan to Malaysia, "Dunyo" agency reports.
According to reports, talks were held with Erwan bin Mohd Tahir, chairman of Malaysia's Hextar Global Group, at the country's embassy. During the event, Ervan Tahir praised the economic changes taking place in Uzbekistan and said that his company is interested in cooperating with representatives of business circles of the country.
He noted that the convenient geographical location of Uzbekistan serves as a unique hub for exporting products to neighboring countries. The Malaysian side also expressed interest in the implementation of joint investment projects within the framework of mutual cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, agreements have been reached in joint investment projects in the field of renewable energy, production of special chemicals, agriculture, as well as export of chemical fertilizers from Uzbekistan to Malaysia, in cooperation with the Malaysian company.
