Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) will participate in laying pipelines in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
Pipelaying vessel "Suleiman Vezirov" will establish transportation infrastructure between Lam and Zhdanov fields, which are developed by Dragon Oil (UAE), the report says, referring to ASCO.
"The vessel will lay four-inch pipelines from LAM-B to LAM-C and from LAM-B to LAM-28. The total length of the pipelines will be 5km".
Dragon Oil has operated in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea since 2000 under Production Sharing Agreement (PSA).
The company invested about $8.1bn in Turkmen projects and, in 2022, extended the contract until 2035.
