President Shavkat Mirziyoyev voiced that the gates of New Tashkent will always be open to entrepreneurs during an open dialogue with business representatives on August 20.

The Head of State highlighted the symbolic importance of holding the meeting in New Tashkent, where construction has already begun.
“This megaproject will clearly show how our reforms are reflected in everyday life. It is a vivid symbol of our bold steps toward renewal and development. For entrepreneurs, New Tashkent will be a space of new opportunities, new ideas, and new markets—a center of innovation and investment,” the president said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the city’s modern infrastructure, built entirely on green technologies, will serve as a catalyst for entrepreneurial initiatives and creativity.

The president first held an open dialogue with entrepreneurs on August 20, 2021, proposing that the event be held annually and August 20 be declared Entrepreneurs’ Day. Since then, these meetings have become a tradition.
So far, nearly 1,000 proposals and initiatives from entrepreneurs discussed during open dialogues have been incorporated into laws and government resolutions.
Ahead of today’s meeting, consultations were conducted with around 7,000 representatives from 26 sectors, and more than 13,000 applications and initiatives were submitted through the call center.
