An international conference on the development of transport and transit corridors in the post-pandemic period will be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on May 3-4, 2023.
The event's key organizer is the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
"The leitmotif of the forum is to discuss post-pandemic recovery and adaptation to new realities in international transport, development of efficient international transport and transit corridors," the press release says.
The list of delegates includes representatives of IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICS (International Chamber of Shipping), IRU (International Road Transport Union), and companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Cargo Lux, Fly Dubai, Vitol, and Dragon Oil.
Participants will be given tours of Turkmenbashi International Port, Ashgabat Airport, and the Ashgabat-Turkmenebat motorway, which is currently under construction towards the northern border of Uzbekistan.
The special exhibition will showcase vehicle manufacturers and dealers, logistics center equipment suppliers, insurance companies, seaport, airport, and railway administrations.
