Britain's Foreign minister, James Cleverly, and the European Commission Vice-President Maros Sefcovic will formally sign off on a new Brexit deal known as the Windsor Framework on March 24, media reports.
The meeting comes after British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak won the backing of parliament on March 22 for a critical element, known as the Stormont Break', in his reworked post-Brexit deal with the EU on Northern Ireland.
According to the media, the brake enables Britain to prevent new EU laws from applying to goods in Northern Ireland if a third of lawmakers in the province's devolved legislature is asked to do so. James Cleverly said in a statement that he looked forward to 'effective cooperation' with the EU.
