Uzbekistan and Sweden are expected to cooperate in the mining, transport and energy sectors. Dunyo news agency reports.
Nodir Ganiev, Chargé d’Affaires of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Sweden met Henrik Hallgren, Director of Operations of the International Swedish Industrial Council.
The parties discussed issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden and agreed to jointly develop the roundtables.
They also wanted to organize visits with of representatives of companies operating in mining, transport and energy.
Uzbekistan and Sweden are also cooperating in water management. In addition, Uzbekistan has reportedly expanded cooperation with Sweden in infrastructure.
