Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the city of Tashkent was consuming more and more electricity and natural gas, and the government took all the necessary measures to fully solve energy issues, during the meeting held in Tashkent.
"First of all, it is necessary to use the potential of renewable energy. Because, it is possible to install solar panels with a capacity of at least 2,000 megawatts on high-rise buildings, social sector objects, the roofs of state offices and business buildings, parking lots and large water facilities," the state leader noted.
Thus, the officials want to meet the expected demand of 240 million kilowatt hours in 2023 by 4 times, making up 1 billion 80 million kilowatt hours.
