The press service of the Andijan region governor has started working with the participation of scientists on the issue of electricity.
Shuhrat Abdurahmanov, khokim of the Andijan region, wants to launch a hydroelectric power plant in the Izboskan district. The governor inspected the station built in the 1950s that had been working since the 80s of last century.
90 cubic meters of river water that flows near the station can generate up to 10 megawatts of electricity The Andijan authorities called scientists and senior experts to hear their proposals which could be executed in the PPP scheme.
Abdurahmanov also inspected the former station in the territory of "Aqbosh" MFY, Marhamat district.
