Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on January 24, received Foreign Minister of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who attended the 26th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers in the capital Tashkent.
Foreign Minister of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu conveyed greetings and good wishes of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In his turn, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his appreciation for regular and fruitful contacts at the highest level that contribute to the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation.
The volume of bilateral growth is growing along with the 370 new joint ventures formed last year. In addition, regular air travel between the two countries is increasing.
Particular attention is drawn to the groundwork and implementation of new investment projects with the participation of leading Turkish companies, including within the framework of industrial cooperation and localization programs.
There was also an exchange of views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda. Interaction issues within multilateral structures, including the Economic Cooperation Organization and the Organization of Turkic States, were considered.
