The list of products subject to mandatory certification in Uzbekistan has been considerably reduced from 6,164 to 2,444 types. This was announced at a press conference that convened the representatives of the Technical Regulatory Agency.
Existing testing laboratories purchased 3,752 pieces of test equipment or 3 times as much as compared to the previous period, the testing laboratories were provided with new equipment and the existing ones were modernized. Also, international testing methods were introduced, 4 laboratories received international accreditation, and 13 new testing laboratories were established.
