The Deputy Ministers of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and Russia Kahramon Yoldoshev and Sergey Levin discussed the issues of cooperation in animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, and fisheries, trade of agricultural products and investment issues, and prospects of cooperation in quarantine and protection of plants.
The Russian side expressed its readiness to increase the export of sunflower oil, confectionery products, and wheat.
The sides also discussed cooperation in the field of agricultural education and the digitalization of the agricultural sphere.
At the end of the meeting, the parties approved the joint "Road Map".
