Passenger buses and railway services can be restored between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. This was announced at a meeting between Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khojayev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakhit Toroboyev.
According to the press service of the Ministry, during the videoconference meeting, the parties discussed the restoration of passenger buses and railway transportation, increasing the number of air flights between the two countries, as well as Irkeshtam-Daroot-Qo' The possibility of building the Rg'on-Uch-Kurg'on highway was discussed. The parties stated that they are ready to take all necessary measures in this direction.
The parties discussed the issues of holding the 10th meeting of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan intergovernmental joint commission on bilateral cooperation in Bishkek and the business forum with the participation of the leaders of the regions of the two countries.
