Uzbekistan PM extends condolences to Russia after Moscow terrorist attack
Following the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region, Uzbekistan's Prime Minister, Abdulla Aripov, visited the Russian embassy in Uzbekistan on March 25 to express condolences to Ambassador Oleg Malginov, Aripov's press secretary reported.
Earlier, Prime Minister Aripov sent a letter of condolence to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin regarding the tragic incident.
Additionally, members of Uzbekistan's parliament, led by Speaker Nuriddin Ismailov, visited the Russian embassy in Tashkent to convey condolences to the Russian people.
The terrorist attack took place on March 22 at the Crocus City Hall concert hall, resulting in at least 133 fatalities and 154 injuries. However, Russian emergency services cautioned that these figures may change as the situation develops.
On March 24, Russia observed a national day of mourning to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow, marking the thirtieth such day in the country's contemporary history.
