Uzbek fruits and vegetables:
According to the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan exported 1,6 mn tons of fruits and vegetables in January-November 2023. Compared to the same period in 2022, this figure increased by 1.4% or 23,100 tons.
Rise of mash
In 11 months, Mash has become the leader in fruit and vegetable exports, as per EastFruit. The revenue from the sale of 148,500 tons of mash to foreign consumers exceeded $115 mn. The volume of Mash’s exports increased by 47.7% compared to previous years.
Decline of table grapes
This legume culture has left far behind the traditional favourite of the foreign market - fresh grapes. Revenue from the export of 121,000 tons of solar berries for 11 months amounted to $80.8 mn. At the same time, it decreased by 55.6% compared to the same period in 2022.

Earlier, Daryo wrote that Uzbekistan exported 1.1 mn tons of fruits and vegetables from January to July 2023. This figure represents a significant increase of 1.2 times or 153,800 tons compared to the same period in 2022. The primary destinations for Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable exports include Russia, accounting for 41.8% of the total, followed by Pakistan with 14.6%, Kazakhstan with 12%, and Kyrgyzstan with 9.1%.
By September 2023, Uzbekistan exported 1.3 mn tons of fruits and vegetables worth $831 mn. According to the Statistics Agency, exports increased by 1.1 times, or 99,500 tons, compared to 2022.
