In Q3 2023, Russian company SELL-Service expanded its reach geographically, marking its inaugural delivery to Uzbekistan through a collaborative agreement with a prominent confectionery manufacturer in Tashkent.
Petr Novak, the director of SELL-Service, outlined the company's strategic plans for further expansion, targeting sales growth in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. To facilitate this expansion, a new team member has been appointed with a specific focus on Central Asian countries.
Novak expressed optimism about the company's prospects, aiming to achieve monthly revenues of ₽50-100mn ($561,325-$1.1mn) in Uzbekistan by mid-2024, with corresponding targets of ₽15-30mn ($168397-$336,795) per month in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Highlighting one of the successful product launches in 2023, Novak emphasized the introduction of grated cocoa to the Russian market. The product, added to the company's portfolio during the same year, recorded substantial sales of over 160 tons, generating revenue of ₽66mn ($740,949)in the third quarter alone.
SELL-Service functions as a direct importer of food raw materials and ingredients in the Siberian and Far Eastern regional markets. Catering to the needs of the food industry and public catering enterprises, the company is led by its director and founder, Petr Novak. With an impressive average annual revenue growth of 60%, the company reported revenues of ₽1.6bn ($18mn) and a net profit of ₽71mn ($797,081) for the full year of 2022. As of Q1 2023, the figures stood at ₽478.5mn ($5.3mn) in revenue and ₽39.9mn ($447,937)in net profit.
