The Uzbekistan national team clinched an additional three bronze medals at the Summer Asian Games in China on September 28, as reported by the Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee's press service.

Vladimir Svechnikov secured a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol shooting event.
Another medal went to the Uzbekistan team in WT Taekwondo. Svetlana Osipova claimed a bronze medal in the +67 kg weight category. In a hard-fought semi-final, she was defeated by China's Zeki Zhou.
In the tennis competition, Uzbekistani player Khumayun Sultanov lost in the semi-finals to Jinzhen Zhang, who ranks 60th in the world qualifications, with a score of 4-6, 1-6, earning a bronze medal.
Oksana Chusovitina and Khumayun Islomov finished fourth in the Asian Games. Islomov showcased his skills in freestyle wrestling, while Chusovitina competed in the vault.
Islomov received a score of 14.133 from the judges, while Chusovitina earned 13.383 points.
The Uzbekistan national team now has a total of 31 medals, including 6 gold, 10 silver, and 15 bronze medals in their collection.
