President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, held trilateral talks in Turkmenistan on August 22.

The negotiations focused on strengthening multifaceted cooperation in trade and economy, transport and communications, energy, and humanitarian spheres.
At the end of the talks, the leaders adopted a joint statement reaffirming their commitment to advancing regional partnership.

Additionally, in the presence of the heads of state, several documents were signed, including memorandums of understanding on cooperation in transport and logistics, shipbuilding, and civil aviation.
An agreement on cooperation between commodity exchanges was also concluded, along with other documents aimed at deepening economic ties.

Earlier, on August 5, during the 3rd UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Turkmenistan, President Mirziyoyev, Chairman Berdimuhamedow, and Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov also held a meeting.
That dialogue emphasized opportunities for collaboration in energy, transport, logistics, industry, and agriculture, with the sides agreeing to continue consultations on practical joint projects.
