The Uzynada area in the Caspian region of Turkmenistan has been successfully explored for new oil and gas perspectives.
Local publication NebitGas reports that a new well numbered 11 has produced a commercial flow of oil condensate and natural gas from a depth of approximately 7,000 metres in the Lower Red Beds. This was further proof that the development of Uzynada has great prospects.
Experts told Daryo that at the end of March 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Turkmenneft State Concern and ARETI (registered in Cyprus) to prepare for the development of the Uzynada hydrocarbon field, discovered in 2017.
