Kazakhstan has surpassed Armenia and Kyrgyzstan regarding national cybersecurity, media reports.
The country ranked 78th out of 176 nations with a score of 48.05% on the cybersecurity index, divided into three categories: global cybersecurity, information and communication technology development, and network readiness.
Kazakhstan received scores in 12 subcategories, with the highest being in personal data protection at 100%, followed by education and professional development at 89%. However, in the field of cyber threat analysis and information, the score was 60%.
Kazakhstan's rating was surpassed by Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Belarus among CIS countries, while Belgium, Lithuania, and Estonia topped the list. South Sudan occupied the rating's bottom spot.
