During clashes between fans of the Athenian club AEK and Zagreb's "Dinamo," a 29-year-old Greek supporter suffered stab wounds. Unfortunately, the man passed away due to his injuries, Euronews reports.
The Champions League match in Athens had to be postponed due to the massive brawl among fans, resulting in the tragic death of the Greek supporter.
The 29-year-old man succumbed to his knife wounds on August 8. The clashes occurred on Monday evening between fans of the Athenian club AEK and Zagreb's "Dinamo."

The club released a statement saying, "Mikhail, AEK will not forget you. The killers and those responsible must face punishment that serves as a lesson."
The "Dinamo" club also strongly condemned the incident.
Reportedly, eight supporters sustained injuries during the clashes. The Greek police announced 98 arrests, primarily of Croatian fans.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident has been initiated. UEFA expressed deep regret about the incident in Athens, which resulted in a loss of life, and announced the postponement of the match.
The third qualifying round match of the Champions League between Athenian AEK and Zagreb's "Dinamo" was scheduled for August 8.
