A horrific crime from two years ago was uncovered in Shymkent, Kazakhstan: a man threw his brother's body into a public toilet, filled the pit with concrete, and built a shed on top, as reported by Polisia.kz.
In 2021, a woman reported her 32-year-old son missing to the police. She stated that her son had left home two weeks prior and hadn't returned.
Only at the beginning of this year did they manage to find a lead - the younger brother was involved in the disappearance.
To locate the missing man, the criminal police conducted comprehensive measures. Law enforcement officers questioned family members, neighbors, and friends, checked video surveillance recordings from nearby cameras. Descriptions of the man's appearance were sent to all units of the city police department and police agencies in all regions of the country.
For two years, the search efforts were in vain, but at the beginning of 2023, investigators finally found a lead. According to the testimony of a random witness, the younger brother was involved in the man's disappearance.
"As a result of the measures taken, it was established that during a family conflict, he killed his relative, striking him several times on the head with reinforcement. The reason for this was the quarrels the stepbrother would create for their mother while drunk. To cover up the traces of this serious crime, the perpetrator threw the deceased's body into the public toilet, filled the pit with concrete, and built a small shed on top," the statement says.
The suspect was taken into custody, and the criminal case with the indictment was sent to court.
