Representatives from the Embassy of Uzbekistan held talks with the President of the Agency for International Cooperation, Jonbuk Kim Desik, Dunyo has reported.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on enhancing interregional ties between the two countries, particularly focusing on cooperation between Cholla-Namdo province and one of the regions in Uzbekistan, encompassing economic, investment, tourism, and cultural-humanitarian aspects.
The South Korean side assured that they would carefully review the proposals and observations from the Uzbek side and share their thoughts on the most promising region for fostering collaboration in the upcoming days.
Furthermore, an agreement was reached for the participation of the Uzbekistan Embassy with a national booth and cultural-musical events during the scheduled Central Asia Week, set to take place from August 21 to 26.
As a result of the discussion, it was decided to conduct a presentation about Uzbekistan for students from Cholla-Namdo province and host a special event that showcases Uzbekistan's significance in the region and the world, while highlighting Uzbek-South Korean cooperation.
