Turkmenistan intends to participate in Eurasia's largest rally "Silk Way", which will cross three time zones (from Kazan to Moscow) from July 6 to 15, 2023 through 13 Russian regions.
The team from Ashgabat consists of: Suleiman Annammedov, Parahat Garlyev, Shamyrat and Mohammed Gurbanovs, Maksatmyrat Danatarov, Didar Orazmedov, Merdan and Shohrat Toilyev.

In all, representatives of 23 countries will take part in the rally, which will be 2,530km long. All vehicles (motorbikes, quad bikes, ATVs, off-road vehicles and trucks) will be allowed to participate.
The "Silk Way" was initiated by Turkmenistan in 2009. The eight-day route covered the expanses of Central Russia and the Southern Urals, the steppes of Kazakhstan and the Karakum desert in Turkmenistan. The race was organized by Russia's Kamaz-Master team, with financing provided by state-run Turkmengaz.
