Reports from the Republic Center of Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan indicate that underground tremors were felt in the country.
On June 29, at approximately 10 am, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred in Tajikistan, about 478 km away from Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent.
The earthquake caused tremors in various areas of Uzbekistan, including Sokh, Uzun, Fergana, Shurchinsky, Rishtan, Uzbekistan, Ferghana City, and Denau districts. The quake's impact was felt up to a distance of 342 km.
