During a meeting between Shavkat Umurzakov, the mayor of Tashkent, and Natalie Pavlik, the co-chairman of the representative of the German government on the issues of settlers and national minorities, the possibility of opening a "German House" was discussed.
The mayor's office expressed willingness to collaborate and support cooperation in various areas such as culture, education, industry, business, and tourism. The achievements of Germany's dual education system were highlighted, and plans were discussed to implement similar initiatives in Tashkent and other parts of the country.
Natalie Pavlik expressed gratitude for Uzbekistan's attention to the German language and culture, and proposed the idea of establishing a "German House" in Tashkent. During the meeting, both parties received responses to their inquiries and expressed their commitment to continue practical dialogues.
Earlier in May, Uzbekistan and Germany held talks on establishing a migration agreement.
