Uzbekistan's Minister of Justice, Akbar Tashkulov, recently met with his counterpart from Azerbaijan, Fikrat Mammadov, as part of the Third International Legal Forum 'Tashkent Law Spring'.
Reportedly, the two ministers of Justice expressed their satisfaction with the current state of collaboration and signed a comprehensive cooperation program for 2023-2024.
The program aims to enhance ties and knowledge sharing in various legal domains, including exchanging experiences and legal expertise in normative legal documents, introducing innovations and ICT in the judicial authorities, and training lawyers. Furthermore, the program will focus on signing memoranda of understanding between relevant institutions of the two countries in forensic expertise.
