As part of a public-private partnership, Uzbek entrepreneurs have been invited to participate in developing the infrastructure of the Alat port. Baku and Tashkent have already joined forces to establish an efficient storage infrastructure within the Baku port, specifically for warehousing and managing Uzbekistan's goods.
Uzbekistan expects a substantial surge in supplies through the ports of Azerbaijan and Georgia, with a target of 1.5mn tons in the upcoming year. This ambitious endeavor reflects the country's unwavering commitment to optimizing its logistics network and leveraging regional partnerships.
