Kadyl Saidilkan has made history by becoming the third citizen of Kyrgyzstan to conquer the highest mountain in the world, Everest, which stands at an impressive height of 8,848 meters.
According to his recent post on Telegram, Kadyr carried with him the flag of Kyrgyzstan, the traditional male hat, ak-kalpak, and the epic “Manas” poem by Sayakbay Karalayev.
His ascent was dedicated to Kyrgyz women.
Reportedly, the first Kyrgyz climber to reach Everest was Dmitry Grekov back in 1997, followed by Eduard Kubatov, the current president of the Mountaineering Federation of Kyrgyzstan, who climbed the mountain on May 23, 2021.
