A road accident occurred on May 16 on the Samara - Shymkent road passing through the territory of the Aktobe region.
According to a report from Kazakhstan's internal affairs agency, a Toyota RAV-4 and Chevrolet Lacetti collided, resulting in the death of the driver and passenger of the Lacetti - both citizens of Uzbekistan. The three other Lacetti passengers and a family couple with a five-year-old child from the Toyota were hospitalized.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
