A 5.4 magnitude earthquake happened on the border of Kazakhstan and China on the morning of May 17, media reports.
The seismic station network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that the earthquake was recorded at 03:56 A.M.
The earthquake's epicenter was approximately 303 kilometers southeast of Almaty, China. The energy class was 12.2, with an MPV magnitude of 5.4 and a depth of about 15 kilometers. There have been no reports of any damage.
